About making reservations

  • Please tell me about your business hours.

    Our reception desk is open on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but we accept inquiries via the form 24 hours a day. Please fill out the form with the necessary information and send it to us. Our staff will check it during business hours and contact you. Please note that we do not accept inquiries by phone.CONTACT

  • Is there a fee for tours?

    All tours are subject to a fee. For details, please contact us using the inquiry form.CONTACT

  • Is there a deadline for reservations?

    Reservations must be made at least one month in advance of the desired date. Please note that it may take some time to coordinate with the companies hosting the tour.
    Please note that this varies depending on the location you are visiting.

  • Is there a cancellation fee?

    Please contact us immediately if you wish to change or cancel your reservation. For same-day cancellations, you will be charged the full tour fee. If you do not show up on the day of your reservation without contacting us, we may restrict your future reservations.

  • Can I make a reservation on the day of the event?

    We do not accept same-day reservations.

  • Can I make a tentative reservation?

    As a general rule, we do not accept tentative reservations for project solicitations. Currently, many customers are using our industrial tourism services. Therefore, in order to allow more customers to use our services, please refrain from making provisional reservations for multiple dates when the event date is still undecided.

  • Is there anything I need to prepare when making a reservation?

    Please fill out the inquiry form with all the necessary information. Depending on the company you wish to visit, you may be required to submit a list of all visitors (visitors, interpreters, guides, and accompanying persons) at the time of inquiry, so please have this ready in advance.

  • When can I make a reservation?

    Reservations and inquiries regarding tour dates will be accepted starting three months prior to the desired tour date. Please note that we cannot respond to inquiries regarding tour reservations and dates made earlier than this.

  • I would like to change the number of visitors after confirming my reservation...

    If there are any changes to the number of visitors, please notify the council as soon as possible with the latest list of participants names. If the number of visitors exceeds the limit for each tour destination, the tour will be cancelled or the excess visitors will not be allowed to enter. In addition, if you change the number of visitors without permission, your next reservation may be restricted.CONTACT

About Tours

  • What are the business days and latest start times for tours?

    This varies depending on the tour location, so please check the page for your desired tour location. Basically, tours are available during the business hours and working hours of each tour location.

  • Are there any rules regarding dress code and belongings?

    Please wear comfortable clothing and non-slip shoes such as sneakers when visiting. For safety reasons, slippery shoes such as high heels and open-toed shoes such as mules and sandals are prohibited. You may not be allowed to bring electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets when visiting the site, so please bring your own notebook, notepad, and writing implements.

  • Is there parking space for buses? Are there any signs or information boards?

    This varies depending on the tour destination, so please check the page for the tour destination you would like to visit.

  • Is it possible to take photos and videos?

    As a general rule, taking photos and videos during site visits is prohibited. Some sites may have designated areas where photography is permitted, so please follow the instructions of the site guide. Please refrain from taking photos or engaging in any behavior that may be suspected of photography until you are given permission to do so.

  • Is it necessary to submit a list of participants names?

    Please submit a list of participants names that includes all visitors, interpreters, and supervisors. Please note that some sites may require you to submit a list of participants names when you make your inquiry.

  • Is there a limit to the number of people who can visit?

    The number of visitors accepted varies depending on the site, so please check the page for your desired location. If there are two groups, please arrange for two interpreters.

  • Are there smoking areas at the tour locations?

    This varies depending on the tour location, so please be sure to follow the instructions of the tour guide. In rare cases, people may smoke on the street just outside the tour site, so please make sure that the guide or accompanying person informs you in advance that smoking is prohibited.

  • Is eating and drinking allowed inside the venue?

    Eating and drinking is prohibited at each tour location except in designated areas. Please inform all visitors in advance to follow the instructions of the tour guide at each location.
